Come to the KIN 2020 VIRTUAL Alternative Gift Fair on December 5!

KIN 2020 Alternative Gift Fair

For over 25 years, KIN has been organizing and hosting an Alternative Gift Fair, and we’re adapting to our new environment by taking the Fair VIRTUAL! Bring your holiday shopping list and join us to meet representatives of 15 different non-profits, who can tell you about their work, and how you can support it in honor of someone on your list. You can tailor your donations to please the person you are honoring and get a gift card that you can give or send.  No wrapping, no boxes – just a simple and meaningful remembrance.

How will this work?  Please register for the Fair via Eventbrite, and we’ll send you the link to the Fair Zoom.  You can come on December 5 anytime between 11AM and 3PM and choose which organizations you’d like to learn more about.  We’ll send you to whichever breakout rooms you’d like to go where you can chat with the volunteer or staff.  No pressure to make a decision right there – when you leave, you’ll have all the information you need to ponder and then donate.

We are also supporting Ten Thousand Villages, Seattle’s non-profit Fair trade store.  They will tell you how to “shop” the store online, and then pick up your purchases right here in Kirkland the next week. Another gift idea that will support a family in need via their beautiful handiwork.

Sign up now by going to https://tinyurl.com/KINFair2020. We’ll email you the Zoom link for the Fair before it starts.
